I fell in love with the Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Boost Range! {And giveaway}

I’m pretty much ruined for life on French skincare. I absolutely cannot get over how gentle and effective it is. And Nuxe is one such brand – I’m a huge fan (And now Cam is too!). Recently, we’ve seen something new launched from the brand, the Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Boost and it shot to the top of my Nuxe favourites really quick. (Spoiler alert, I’m completely nuts about the serum concentrate!!)

The Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Boost range is formulated for women between 25 – 39. Women are facing stress, fatigue and the urban environment and that wreaks havoc on their skin. Is that you? Because it sure as heck is me. *raises hand silently*

A new range designed with this in mind

On a daily basis our skin is enduring high stress levels, insufficient sleep and being effected by the urban environment (such as pollution and various forms of radiation!)  Basically oxidative stress, cellular stress and collagen damage leads to the skin burning out! That’s where this range comes in – a new range with a specially formulated anti-oxidant complex. It contains Jasmine Flower combined with Calendula Flower and a Cellular Sugar. These ingredients specially help to boost the skin’s mechanisms to correct the consequences of this furious pace of life.

My ultimate hero of the collection-  the Energising Priming Concentrate – R425.00 (100ml)

This serum is amazingly lightweight, fresh and absorbs immediately into your skin. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated, soft and happy. It has a very thin formula – the texture is actually inspired by Korean liquid cosmetics. This serum-lotion combines 2 types of natural Hyaluronic Acid – leaving your skin moisturised from deep down. It also contains Vitamin C to activate the skin’s radiance.

Since I’ve been using this serum my skin is noticeably ‘happier’ for lack of a better word. It’s hydrating, makeup looks great when applied and soft. Not to mention the scent is absolutely incredible – I can’t get enough of it. I’ve even pushed this product onto Cam and he’s a fan as well. Although, his favourite is the moisturiser!

Crème Prodigieuse Boost Multi-Correction Gel Cream- R495 for 40ml

Now this one comes in a gel cream for normal to combination skin, as well as a silky cream for normal to dry skin. Personally I’ve been using the gel-cream and just love the texture. My skin is pretty combination anyway. The moisturiser combines the Jasmine Flower anti-oxidant complex with the smoothing effect of natural Hyaluronic Acid. It gives a daily booster for revived fresh, radiant skin, while softening the first signs of ageing.

And lastly, the eye cream..

Crème Prodigieuse Boost Multi-Correction Eye Balm Gel – R425.00

Again, the formula here is bomb. It’s got a gel-like consistency which absorbs really quickly into the skin. The eye balm gel contains Botanical Caffeine extract, which contains anti-dark circle and anti-puffiness properties. All in the name of trying to counter the effects of an insufficient night’s sleep in the blink of an eye! (good for me – being a student and working at the same time!)

All in all- as a beauty blogger I test and try many brands all the time. But honestly, this range has left the strongest impression on me in a while. The products aren’t heavy, they smell amazing and your skin will feel noticeably smoother afterwards.  It’s lovely to find a range aimed at my age group and targeting the concerns I have- lack of sleep, the urban environment and fatigue.

Nuxe are available at Truworths, Woolworths and Edgars
