Recently I was gifted a Nebulising Diffuser from Organic Aromas, and it had to be one of my most anticipated products in a long time! The reason why is that I have been so curious about diffusers for a long time, as well as the benefits of essential oils for the home and your family.
When I first heard about the Nebulizing Diffuser® by Organic Aromas® I was very intrigued, as I could see just by the design these diffusers are different from the many you will find in ones home. Upon research, I discovered that these diffusers use no heat, water or plastic! I couldn’t wait to receive mine and try it out – especially as winter season is beginning to arrive.
What the general benefits of using essential oils in diffusers? Why should I use one?
Essential oils are highly concentrated natural extracts from the leaves, flowers, and stems of plants. One of the most common way to use essential oils is to inhale them via a diffuser, both for their amazing scent and their therapeutic properties. (Purely from an aesthetic scent – they make your home smell so fresh and inviting!)
Essential oils have a wide range of medicinal and therapeutic properties, and their antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties make them a useful product in your medicine cabinet. There has been much research on their ability to help promote healthy sleep, relieve headaches, and alleviate pain. I absolutely love how they can help open up your airways when you are battling with nasal congestion – especially when I pop eucalyptus in – my personal favourite!
Aromatherapy is also an excellent addition to your everyday routine as it can be a great resource during seasons or days of stress and tension. Those feelings of calm and relaxation will help you take a moment, exhale, and recenter yourself when your thoughts are running wild.
First impressions of the Nebulising Diffuser
When my diffuser arrived, my first thought was the ‘weightiness’ of the box! The diffuser is made from plantation hardwood and glass – making it feel luxurious and of high quality. You immediately get the impression this is a good investment piece that will be a lovely addition to your home for many years!
The way the diffuser is made makes it very easy to set up, use and clean. Its small and slimline design allows it to fit on almost any surface – and not to mention it is pretty to look at so it’s a pretty addition to any living space.
The design of this diffuser is very practical because it is extremely quiet and won’t disrupt your daily activities. It also has a “touch sensor” light switch which enables the user to turn the LED light on or off any time with a swipe of a finger. (Both Rio and I love the LED light, especially at night!)
So what is the difference between traditional diffusers and the Nebulising Diffusers by Organic Aromas?
Compared to some of the other types of diffusers out there today, the stand out features of the Nebulizing Diffuser make it a really easy choice. Not only is it beautiful and effective, it is clean, safe and quiet. When you feel the glass and wood of this diffuser, you can also feel that its high quality makes it long lasting – something you can enjoy in your home for many years to come!
Many people use ultrasonic diffusers that utilise water to carry the essential oils into the air. Not only can the oils eventually damage the plastic diffuser, but the water means that your home is filled with added humidity. Candle diffusers don’t work for people like me who have small children – they need to be supervised all the time! Whereas the Nebulising Diffuser works without heat or moisture. This means that your oils are released into the air in their purest form and that you have the safest method of diffusing available. No heat, no added water, no plastic. Just powerful, pure essential oils and professional-grade aromatherapy!
I really love that it does not contain plastic – completely non-toxic. Since I’ve become a mom that is something I think about a lot more and have actively tried to reduce the amount of plastic in my home.

My favourite oils
As mentioned above, I have a huge fan of Eucalyptus! We basically have basically been having it diffusing daily since the cold weather started.
Eucalyptus is such a go-to oil when you’re not feeling well or just feeling a bit congested. It is a key ingredient in many menthol rubs, so having the oil in your diffuser can really provide some relief – acting as a natural decongestant and cough suppressant by helping your body break down mucus and phlegm and opening up your airways. It also makes your home smell so fresh and inviting.
I am absolutely loving my diffuser – I can’t wait to add more oils to my collection!
