The evening was truly a memorable one! There was a buzz in the air in anticipation of the fantastic comedic lineup and hope of a night to remember. Food was in abundance – we were treated to delightful starter platters overflowing with prego chicken wings, mini Napolitano pizza squares, Mediterranean meatballs, crumbed button mushrooms and more. If you weren’t already full, the main was the most delicious burgers with fries. Most of all, those gorgeous G&T’s went down like a bomb.
Since this is the Comedy Club, we knew we were in for a treat. MC of the night was the fabulous Mel Jones! This lady is incredibly talented and knows how to give the audience a good couple of laughs. It was my first time at one of her performances and she was amazing. You can read more about her on her website here. Finally, the main act, Rob Van Vuuren, took the stage. Let’s just say we are all grateful our names aren’t Zane!
