The day I fell in love with Exuviance skincare

2018 was the year I fell in love with skincare. I’ve always loved makeup and appreciated the glitz, glam and shimmer. However, last year I started implementing a proper skincare routine and the results made me realise – skincare is where it all starts. Taking care of your skin will give you a glow that highlighter can’t.  And when I started using some of the Exuviance skincare products, it took my routine to a whole other level. They are pretty much my skincare find of 2018 and I really want to explain why!

The focus of the article is on three products that, in my opinion, each pack power in their own right. Each of these products I’ve used for over two months so I feel that I can confidently give my opinion. These products are:

Where the skincare brand began..

Exuviance Skin Care was created by the founding Dermatologist partners of the NeoStrata group. I discovered something very interesting – they actually discovered the anti-aging benefits of Glycolic Acid and created and patented the first Glycolic Peel! Ah – this helps us to understand the foundation of this brand and the authority it carries!

Exuviance Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish

The microdermabrasion is a very innovative exfoliator. It’s formulated with a unique blend of physical, chemical and enzyme rejuvenators (3 different types of exfoliators!)

The key ingredients include professional Grade Crystals to smooth skin, a Papaya Enzyme and Glycolic Acid. These help to dissolve impurities that contribute to congested pores, loosen dead skin cells and speed up cell renewal.

When you use this product, you’ll feel a difference immediately. The skin texture is noticeably smoother as the dead skin is sloughed away. It literally feels like a facial at home and I can’t sing it’s praises enough. Cam totally loves this product too and I have caught him stealing it a few times! I’d seen this recommended by Kiss, Blush and Tell numerous times and now totally see why!

Honestly, while I fully recommend and adore all three of the products mentioned, if I had to choose one product and say splurge on one: It would be the Triple Microdermabrasion. It’s just literally the most amazing product and your skin will feel different. These days you can do an amazing mini at home facial and this product is the perfect one to add to your collection. (And, it will last you for ages! After two months my tube is still really full).

Exuviance Deep Hydration Treatment

If your skin is dry, dehydrated and in need of one freaking good boost – the deep hydration treatment is your go-to. Think of it like your skin taking a long, hydrating drink of water. This treatment hydrates second to none and your skin will feel totally amazing the next day! Whenever my skin is looking a little dull or dry, I pop this on the night before and wake up with my skin gloriously soft!

The deep hydration treatment is a lightweight, intensely moisturising overnight serum with a water-gel texture. The product helps to fight back daily oxidative stress as well as dryness and dehydration. It also has a potent Anti-Pollution Complex. What does this mean? It’s formulated with the antioxidant Lilac Cell Culture Extract which helps to neutralize the effects of daily pollution and environmental damage.

P.S. It’s also fabulous for restoring and strengthening the skin barrier.

P.P.S I use this 2-3 times per week and see a noticeable difference in my skins hydration.

Exuviance AGE Reverse HydraFirm

Looking for an intense hydrating cream? Well then maybe this should be your next try! The Reverse HydraFirm is a unique combination of multi-tasking ingredients in a very luxurious cream formulation. It feels a bit like Gucci for your skin!

Not only does it feel luxurious, this cream is made to target all visible signs of ageing. Knowing which products to splurge on

Exuviance is definitely a high end skincare brand. Most products retail above R800. Now, you guys know I am all for getting a bargain and cutting costs where you can! However, I also know there are some products that are just worth the splurge – there is simply no drugstore alternative to them. So many of the Exuviance products fall into this category! The products are so innovative and use such advanced formulas that the splurge will pay off. Your skin will be glowy, hydrated and smooth to the touch.

Furthermore, a little goes a long way with these products. You don’t need a large amount of product to get a good result! Hence, when you split the cost over several months it becomes a lot more affordable.

I can say with confidence that these are products I will definitely be repurchasing, and I’m super keen to try their retinol products next. It’s safe to say I am most certainly an Exuviance convert.
