Every now and then you come across a truly fantastic product that you just can’t help but rave about. Recently, I tried the Optiphi B Body Wash (don’t think this is some drab, everyday body wash, it’s not!) and I love it! It’s been a staple in my shower for the past two months and I can’t wait to explain why.

The Optiphi B Body Wash is a body polish, meaning it gently yet effectively exfoliates the skin. This is due to its exfoliating properties of Beta-hydroxy (salicylic acid) and Alpha Hydroxy acid (Lactic acid). Now, I’ve long spoken about my battle with mild keratosis pilaris on my arms. Dealing with keratosis pilaris requires a multi-faceted approach – good diet, moisturisers as well as good exfoliant! But, while you want to exfoliate, you also don’t want to over aggravate the skin leaving it red or inflamed. This product has helped a lot with smoothing out the skin on my arms, and I’ve since recommended it to many others with the same frustrations as me.

Soft , silky skin!
The B Body Wash is so gentle that it exfoliates so gently! And let me tell you- your skin will feel extremely soft after use. Noticeably so!! I was so amazed at the result after one wash (I use it with a bath sponge or exfoliating mitt) that I knew I had to incorporate this into my body care routine.
A non-invasive scent
Something I like about Optiphi products is that their scent is never overbearing. They often smell clean and very neutral. This body polish is no different! This wash has delicate jasmine, white blossom and plum accents which leave a subtle scent.
Balanced
Additionally, the Optiphi B Body Wash has been formulated to exfoliate and cleanse without disturbing the integrity of your skin barrier. This is something to watch out for with harsher soaps!
Cost
For the quality and benefits of the product, I think it is very reasonably priced at R264 for 250ml.
