I can’t believe how close it is to welcoming our sweet baby boy into the world. Despite all the crazy things happening at the moment with Covid-19, I’m still celebrating this incredibly special time and counting down the days until Baby W makes his grand entrance. I spoke last week on baby items I simply cannot wait to use, and one of them was the Noola BabyPod! I thought it would be good to go a bit more in detail about the pod.
Off the bat I want to mention that something I love the most is that this is a local South African brand. I’ve heard such great things about Noola from so many moms! It is clearly a very trusted and reputable brand known for their practical and good quality products. I’ve actually got my eye on their Closer2You baby carrier and am planning to purchase one before the little ones arrives. Their website is full of a variety of goodies so even if you’re not looking for a sleep pod, I’d suggest checking them out!
Introducing the Noola BabyPod
The Noola BabyPod is a sleep pod but also so, so much more! It can also be used for co-sleeping, playing, tummy time and diaper changing. I’ve actually seen a few people use them on their changing table. I love that this product is so diverse in use – it can be overwhelming (and frankly, expensive!) to have to buy multiple items. So, multitasking items are such a win!
Easy to travel with!
I love the idea of how ‘transportable’ it is. With my family being in Port Elizabeth and Cam’s family being in Somerset West, I foresee lots of trips and having to put baby to sleep in different environments. Having an item such as the Noola BabyPod will be able to establish a sense of familiarity for the baby and make it easier to put him to sleep in different places. What’s great is that it fits in most standard cot sizes, so when you’re at home you can also pop it in the cot and baby can just sleep directly on there. Additionally, it’s also ideal for bed transitioning. This is thanks to built-in, air-permeable bumpers that act as bed rails which allow young children to settle more easily in a bigger bed.
Additional features
Firstly on a very important note I have to mention how soft and luxurious it feels! The cover is made from 100% down 400 thread count down cotton and just feels super snuggly! All materials used are breathable, washable and hypoallergenic.
