I’ve said it before – it’s amazing how perfume takes you back to a specific time, place, season or moment in your life. It has the ability to transport you within a moment. I have several scents that remind me of some of my most special days – my engagement day, wedding day, my 21st – to name a few! The Elizabeth Arden White Tea is no different. It always brings me back to summer memories. It’s one of my favorite summer scents and always reminds me of warm, happy days.
“An exquisite fragrance that captures the simplicity and purity of white tea.”
Inspiration behind the range
The Elizabeth Arden White Tea range was first launched in 2017. The Elizabeth Arden White Tea range was inspired by the simple pleasure that accompanies the first sip of tea. The fragrance is described as exquisitely uncomplicated. Think sophistication. Think serenity. For me, I can totally pick up the inspiration in the scent. It is beautiful, yet not overbearing. I especially love how it suits women of all ages and can be worn on a simple summers day as well as a fancy night out.
Reese Witherspoon is the face of Elizabeth Arden and consequently, the White Tea range. It’s perfectly fitting as I think no one embodies sophistication, feminism and beauty quite like she does!
Now, in addition to the fabulous original, we have two new delightful scents. These are the Elizabeth Arden White Tea Wild Rose, as well as White Tea Vanilla Orchid.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Original
The original is simply stunning – it’s uncomplicated, pure and really suits all occasions. For me, it works just as well during the day as it would during the evening. It is feminine, sophisticated and soft!
The Original has top notes of Italian Mandarin and Sea Breeze, middle notes of White Tea and white iris and base notes of tonka bean and tranquility musks.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Vanilla Orchid
For me, the White Tea Vanilla Orchid is my favorite. It has depth to it but still has the trademark white tea lightness. Vanilla scents can be tricky as sometimes they are overly sweet and overbearing. However the Vanilla Orchid strikes the perfect balance with the top notes of Lemon Primofiore and Bergamot Essence. It is described as an ‘opulent and alluring floral scent’
White Tea Orchid has top notes of Lemon Primofiore and Bergamot Essence, middle notes of White Tea, Jasmin and Vanilla Orchid and base notes of vanilla essence, amberwood and musk.
And finally, the White Tea Wild Rose
White Tea Wild Rose has a sweetness to it from the rose, but is still fresh thanks to notes such as fresh pear blossom. It is said to ‘capture the soft surprise of wild rose at the edge of the ocean.’ A rising sweetness layered on a fresh breeze.
For me personally it is the more sensual of the trio and makes for a lovely date night or evening scent.
The White Tea Wild Rose has top notes of white tea, pear tree blossom and red currant, middle notes of Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose and Blush Peony and base notes of Tonka Bean and musks.
Some important perfume application tips!
When it comes to perfume, something that is really important is making sure that you apply it correctly!
Most people (me included!) apply perfume primarily onto their wrists and neck. However, these areas are not the only spots that are good for holding onto a scent for longer! Other heat-retaining areas, such as behind your ears, on the insides of your elbows or even behind your knees are therefore also great to remember when applying perfume that you want to last you for the whole day. In addition to these, your hair will also hold onto the scent quite well!

I have my ‘White Tea’ moment with my feet up, relaxing with a book!
My white tea moment is self care Sunday with my sister, we paint our nails, wear sheet masks and just enjoy each other’s company. We watch our guilty pleasure mind numbing shows like keeping up with the Kardashians and also look at you tube make up tutorials. We ear ice cream and gossip. It’s bliss once a week and I love it.
Halo 🙂 My White Tea moment -me time is when my husband spend time with the kids in the evening & I spend some time doing upside down headstands. It helps me relax & it has really helped me to take time for myself & do something I love. It helps me connect my mind to my body. I sleep a lot better as well. 🙂
My white tea moment is when I come home after a long day at the office and I can finally get in more comfortable clothing, pour a respectable glass of red vino (Roodeberg please) and then head of to the garden where I can just sit and reflect on the day, listening to the crickets and peacocks in the neighbourhood and catching up with myself.
My White Tea moment has become a practice of mindfulness where I’ve been consciously taking the time in letting myself relax – whether it’s meditation or a morning swim, followed by a good cup of tea. This is something I look forward to.

Oh boy I have alot of white tea moments, cause to me its such an important part of life! 😁 Sometimes it would be having a bubble bath, cuddling up with my husband and doggies having some warm drinks and escaping this busy life that so often surrounds us by watching some stories or reading some books or just relaxing. Sometimes my white tea moments would be a bit more adventurous going for a run, a hike, taking the dogs for a walk or simply enjoying the outdoors and sunshine and sometimes thought not quite as often as I’d like id get all pretty and go on a date with my husband always smelling nice cause its really the one thing that always brightens my mood and after all happiness really is a way of life #itsthelittlethings

My White Tea moment is sitting on my back porch, just as the sun is setting with a hot cuppa and piece of 70% cocoa Lindt chocolate to pair (a strange combo but it works for me!). I allow myself to take in the sounds as the day draws to a close and enjoy everything the moment gives me ❤️
My favorite white tea moment is when i get ready for date night with hubby which is always amazing. Its us time and finishing my look for the night with any Elizabeth Arden fragrance is a must ❤
My white tea moment is when I can finally relax on a Sunday evening and take time out for myself by running a hot bubble bath, masking my face and just taking time to reflect on the week that passed and prepping for the week ahead.
My white tea moment is unwinding after a busy year with a g and t and a good book at the pool. Another moment I love is walking through the botanical gardens with my boyfriend smelling the different scents of the season and feeling the warm summer sun glowing on my skin. I love Elizabeth arden and their perfumes really encapsulate so many special memories. What an awesome post!
When I worked from home, my White Tea moments were after the school run, just having a chance to breathe and regroup over a lovely cup of tea was like a big warm hug. That first sip would just wash over me and give me that me time to ready myself to smash the tasks that lay ahead!

My white tea moment is just sitting on the carpet in the lounge and playing with my dogs.
I have a special tea cup at home with my own special tea mix. It’s a little me time ritual that I look forward to. This happens when I’m getting ready to relax with a book and take in the serenity, sounds and smells around me. That first sip for me is always the best. It’s something I don’t get to do that often so that’s why it’s a moment for me. Life is complicated enough, so for me my tea time is uncomplicating life even just for a moment…
My white tea moment is are icing at home after a long and busy day at work and spending quality time with my 1 year son who is always in his element when he sees me. Priceless precious moments 💙
My white tea moment would definitely have to be a long bath with my favorite bath bomb and my chamomile tea right next to me accompanied by a lovely face mask. All a mom of 3 needs after a long and stressful week 😁.
My White Tea moment is going to the movies on my own, a perfect way to switch off from the outside world in two hours.
I’m not sure when last I had a cuppa white tea! I usually only have it on special occasions, like a big family dinner and seeem to enjoy it more when it’s brewed on the stove! 😃

My white tea moment is reminiscing back to the days where my grandmother was still alive. I used to love her perfume collection so much. She was an avid Elizabeth Arden fan, and had a lot of perfumes from the brand. I still remember playing around with her perfumes when I was little and pretending to be this “lady” from back in the day attending balls and things like that. It was one of the moments I still remember so clearly. I would do anything to smell her again.😭
I have me time sitting on the patio watching the stars sipping on a delicious cup of tea and taking in the summer smells and night sounds.
My White Tea moment is early in the morning when I wake up – I make my first cup of tea (rooibos) and meditate and breathe in and out and state my list of gratitude and positive affirmations on my day and life. It really helps me remain calm, grateful and at peace.

My White Tea Moments are definitely the days I get back home after my hospital stays, back to my own bed and my own space where I can fully heal and relax and my self care, skin care days are also White Tea Moments 💜
I love to take time out at least once a week to unwind…I do a full facial and paint my nails. I often get out a good book and get stuck in for some time to myself. That’s my idea of a white tea moment
Besides my tea moment, another moment that goes hand in hand is fragrance and how it takes you back as soon as you smell it. My best friend bought me my first bottle of 5th Ave 20 years ago with a note that said “the value of things are shown in time, but times shows the value that was always there” whenever I smell that I think of my friend and remember how precious time is. That’s how I see moments I take for myself to refresh, reboot in the busyness of life. I do that with a cup of tea made the old fashion way, with leaves and cup n saucer
My “white tea” moment is right between getting ready and just coming out of the shower. I’m in a towel and have just suckered the energy to do my skincare routine (toner + serum + eye cream + moisturizer + spf) and I get to chill on the bed (possibly with a cup of tea), let the layers dry and contemplate life itself.
I’m a busy mommy, wife and part time student I have my ‘White Tea’ moment every Saturday at the beach doing some meditation having a cup of coffee, relaxing with a book!
My white tea moment is definitely once my children are in bed at the end of a long day and I sink into a warm, fragrant bath for a long soak. Aaaaaaaaah I literally feel the stress melt away 😍😍😍
My White Tea moment is centered around self-care. A good facial mask, the hugest cup of green tea I can make all whilst I’m cuddled up on my favourite couch in complete silence. It allows me to disengage from the daily hubbub and to get lost (in comfort) in a fictional world that refreshes me.
My white tea moment is working on my remembrance and vegetable gardens. I only recently started gardening and find it to be my solace, bonus is I finally have some tomatoes and potatoes growing, so excited to harvest when they are ready.
My ‘white tea time’ is that quiet time in the garden, listening to birdsong and marvelling at the sunrise after a 13 hour night shift. In that moment, I forget the chaos and drama of the night before and enjoy the simple beauty I find before the city wakes up.
My “White Tea” moment is usually after a 12hour shift (I’m a nursing student) where I take a nice hot shower prepare a cup of tea get into bed and read a book. Bliss.
Thank you so much to @sincerelyblond and @elizabeth for this amazing giveaway.

Oh wow… I’ve struggled with finding the balance of having a “white tea” moment since having my baby boy but I’ve vowed that 2020 is my year to improve on my self care- so I make sure that once a week, I find some time to unwind, usually with a good book and a tall glass of wine. Bliss!
